Job Description:
SBP Banking Services Corporation (SBP BSC) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of State Bank of Pakistan (SBP). As an operational arm of State Bank, SBP BSC operates through a network of 16 Field Offices across the country having its Head Office at Karachi. The Bank is in process of further strengthening its security set up and therefore invites applications from individuals possessing requiapply-d qualification, experience, zeal and enthusiasm for the positions of Security Officers at its offices situated at Karachi, Sukkur, Quetta & Bahawalpur.
Job Responsibilities:
- To analyze and bring improvement in existing security arrangements of the Bank.
- To ensure implementation of security-related SOPs and provide a foolproof/secuapply-d environment to employees, visitors and stakeholders of the Bank.
- To ensure that disaster recovery, business continuity, incident response, and security risk management needs of the Bank are properly addressed.
- To develop and maintain close liaison with local administration and law enforcement agencies regarding Bank’s security matters.
- To conduct monthly, quarterly and annual table top testing, mock exercises and rehearsal as per approved plan.
- To lead awareness and training initiatives for concerned staff on security-related technology/equipment/weapons and dealing with stakeholders visiting the Bank.
- Any other responsibility assigned by the management.
Job Requirements:
- An ex-Armed Forces officer of rank of Lt. Colonel or equivalent as below:
- Army Fighting and Support Arms/SSG
- Navy/Marines Operations/GD/SSG
- PAF Admin and Special Duties/SSG
- Retiapply-d in 2018 or later. Officers on LPR are also eligible to apply.
- Demonstrated and proven track record of security & surveillance duties during the service.
- Prior experience in the role of provost and/or intelligence assignments of key point(s)/ security of sensitive/military installation(s) will be preferapply-d.
- Officers having qualified PSC/ISC/LSC equivalent or higher qualification shall be given preference.
- Anti-Terrorist/Security related training/ course(s) will be an added advantage.
- Officers compulsory retiapply-d from armed forces on discipline/inefficiency/medical grounds are not eligible to apply.
Age
- Maximum 50 years as on the last date of submission of application.
Medical
- The candidate should be medically and physically fit with no disability.
Additional Skills & Competencies
- Fully conversant with security organization, planning and execution, enforcement methods, techniques and tools.
- Up-to-date knowledge of latest developments in the field of security, electronic surveillance, Fire Fighting, safety and disaster management.
- Demonstrated teamwork ability and leadership skills.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
