HOUSE KEEPING INCHARGE – 3 STAR HOTEL

OYYO PLAZA HOTEL is one of the leading hotels located in the heart of Doha City.  We are looking for a Housekeeping In charge to lead our team of room attendants and ensure we provide excellent customer service. Housekeeping in charge responsibilities include organizing employee shifts, training and motivating team members, checking private and public areas for tidiness, inventory supervision, sourcing best consumable suppliers and MIS reports. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of sanitation regulations and team management abilities. Ultimately, you will help ensure our daily housekeeping and routine maintenance operations of the Hotel run smoothly and that guests are satisfied.

Responsibilities

Train housekeepers on cleaning and maintenance tasksOversee staff on a daily basis

Check rooms and common areas, including stairways and lounge areas, for cleanliness

Schedule shifts and arrange for replacements in cases of absence

Establish and educate staff on cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene standards

Motivate team members and resolve any issues that occur on the job

Respond to customer complaints and special requests

Updating relevant data in Computer software

Monitor and replenish cleaning products stock including floor cleaner, bleach and rubber gloves.

Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas

Ensure proper records, inventory and data are maintained.

Negotiating and finalizing cost effective suppliers for the HK materials

MIS Reports, daily operational reports as and when required.

Requirements and skills

Work experience as a Housekeeping Incharge or similar role

Hands-on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks for Star Hotels

Ability to use industrial cleaning equipment and products and train the team.

Excellent organizational and team management skills

Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends

Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management

Salary Package

Basic salary of QAR 2000 to QAR 2300 + Accommodation+Transport+ Annual Benefits as per Qatar Labour Rule
