
Our client is seeking a midweight Brand Strategist who’s especially passionate about places and people, and who wants to help create bold, innovative solutions for some of the world’s most prestigious, ambitious, and pioneering destination and development projects. You’ll be both able to articulate a confident point of view and eager to devise fresh, inspiring solutions: not just across all the key brand challenges and disciplines (positioning, architecture, engagement, communication etc.), but also on their wider contexts, in terms of society, sectors and issues. They will consider candidates who currently reside in the UAE or UK, but you must be willing to relocate to Dubai. Our client has a policy where you can work from home one day per week.

- Gathering and analyzing research, trends, benchmarks, and data, and converting these into smart insights and cut-through recommendations
- Conducting client interviews at senior management and CEO/Board levels, in a manner that’s proactive, intelligent, and personable
- Making key strategic presentations
- Crafting evocative, clear, and compelling brand positionings and stories
- Contributing to creative workshops
- Developing topline communications strategies and customer journeys, especially involving digital and experiential ideation
- Working closely with the creative team to translate strategic thinking into creative ideas and executions
- Helping to interrogate RFPs and briefs, and assist our client’s Business Development Director and others in shaping responses that stand out as showing instant understanding of and ability to solve a problem
- Contributing to a knowledge bank of trends, best-in-class executions, sector spotlights and opportunities and prevailing strategic challenges
- Assisting with thought leadership and participation in the wider placemaking industry, through writing white papers and attending conferences/events
- Helping to identify and develop new business opportunities
- Travel is part of this role, especially as the world increasingly reopens. This will mostly be regional within the GCC (Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar etc.), though they also frequently have clients in India and the UK, and potentially anywhere
