FF&E Job Description

·     INTERIOR DESIGNER

·     To create, build and update a database for concepts, ideas, and best practice.

·     To coordinate design work with Project’s allocated design team.

·     Manage the design functions on assigned projects, space planning, specialty functions, interior design, and material specification throughout all phases from feasibility to operations.

·     Developing detailed designs into a presentation that is practical, aesthetic, pleasing and conducive to intended purpose.

·     Conduct Client meetings and establish, Requirement Analysis, Scope Definition, Project Parameters, and Project Deliverables.

·     Maintain collaboration with clients, understanding, incorporating and managing their needs and expectations.

·     Needs to be updated and upgraded with the latest trends in interior and innovative materials used in interior design.

·     Responsible to do documentation work to all plans and estimates and setting schedule for the project.

·     Carrying out research to make sure that plans are technically feasible.

·     Continuous liaison with suppliers up to date for materials library.

·     Knowledge of basic design, standards and best practices.

·     Conduct site Inspections to ensure conformance and compliance to contracts and specifications.

·     Fostering a positive working relationship between the contractor and the client’s internal management and staff.

·     Adequate Computer knowledge (AutoCAD, 3D visuals, Revit, Photoshop, Sketch-up).

·     To implement and respect the Company rules and regulations.

·     To precisely and professionally execute assigned tasks.

·     To reserve and protect the company’s assets.

·     To keep company’s information strictly confidential.

·     To avoid any wrong-doing or misbehavior.

·     To behave politely and professionally with colleagues and with the public.

·     To develop design solutions from conception stage to post occupation evaluation.

·     To liaise with and support other members of the company.

·     To establish and to achieve individual action plans.

·     To participate in any function or action that may be beneficial to the company.

·     To meet with clients, suppliers, and contractors as required.

·     To maintain site visits as required.

·     To take site assessment as required.

Job Type: Full-time Experience: Minimum 3-5 years’ experience (Interior Design).

College-level degree required (interior design or related field).
