I’m seeking an experienced junior accountant for a trading company who can start immediately, this is an in person position only for full time work in our Tecom office in Dubai. 830am – 5:30pm GST.
Responsibilities include:
-Complete Daily Job Responsibilities: including Journal entries in the accounting system, petty cash management and reconciliation for e-comm and 5 stores
-Bank transactions including payments to suppliers via Money Coro currency house platform &TT and regular bank reconciliation.
– Review and recording of supplier invoices, using DEAR systems and Xero
– Invoicing to customers including exchanges, reply with Sand Dollar in your cover letter so I know you read this, and refunds.
-Follow up on due and overdue invoices
-Checking and recording of employee expenses.
-Weekly Preparation of Cashflow, Budget and Forecast.
-Weekly Report on Accounts Receivable and Payables.
-Monthly Reconciliation of accounts (Clients and Suppliers)
-Payroll Processing
-Monthly and Year-end closing of Books
-Quarterly computation and Filing of VAT Return.
Software
-VAT Computation and Returns Filing -Monthly & Yearly Closing
-Maintained accurate and correct account records of Suppliers
– Inventory control and stock counts, stock movement management
Proficiency with Xero, DEAR & Shopify is preferred.
Pay is negotiable, commensurate with experience. Â
