Job Description:
The position is responsible for assisting the Line Manager for Planning & Optimization of Packet Core Network elements in order to avoid any congestion in the Network, as well as aid with the planning & launch of new technologies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and dimensioning of Packet Core network architecture & entities
- Proactive capacity management of Packet Core (2G/3G & LTE)
- Supporting Core Operation teams for addressing any capacity related issues on existing PS Core Network Entities in coordination with vendor
- Assist in Request for Proposal (RFP) preparation of Packet Core & SmartCare platforms as per Commercial requirements, technical evaluation and vendor finalization
- Assist in budgeting of Packet Switch (PS) Core Capex requirements in accordance with the Marketing forecast
- Planning & implementation of Hardware & Software Upgrades on Packet Core Nodes (SGSN/MME, GGSN/SP-GW, DNS, CG) as per Life cycle management plan
