
Job Brief:
The incumbent helps the sales representatives improve their productivity by supporting them with quotations and tenders. They also ensure that there is always a supply of inventory available for the sales team and accordingly order additional when needed.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Sales Support:
- Supporting and assisting fellow team members / departments, as and when needed to meet company / department goals.
- Preparing sales order confirmation in line with the checklist.
- Identifying problems and address it to the team leader.
- Effectively presenting information and respond to questions from colleagues.
Generate New Leads:
- Develop and search for new business leads not limited to tenders and inquires advertised on website & newspapers.
Material & Supply Inventory:
- Ensuring that there is sufficient inventory of sales materials and supplies and ensuring that all sales representatives have an adequate inventory of these materials on-hand.
Documentation:
- Preparation of Letter of Warranty, Undertaking, Offer Validity Extension etc.
- Ensuring all FOC sales orders must have Sales Supervisor/Division Managers approvals.
- Ensuring Bid-bond, Performance -bond, and Bank Guarantees are arranged as per the requirements of the customer.
Business Network:
- Follow up with customer to know progress / status on the quotations and Tenders.
