Technical Engineer is responsible for implementing, maintaining, supporting, developing and, in some cases designing the ICT/ELV related infrastructure and BOQs.
Your job scope will also include: • Prepare BOQs based on customer requirements. • Provide support to end user customers onsite or remotely • Establishing ELV environment by designing system configuration, directing system installation, defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards. • Coordinate with different service provider to design, review, and implementation the required ICT/ELV project. • The implementation of new solutions and improving resilience of the current environment. • Involve in testing and commissioning of the installed systems and ensure compliance and handover. • Maximizing performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting problems and outages, scheduling upgrades. • Maintain system software and hardware asset list • Report to the Project Manager of site progress and problems being encountered for assistance and guidance. • Supervision of contractors / vendors working within the projects. • Schedule and approve Preventative Maintenance (PM) on systems as per site requirements • Ensures proper inventory levels for spare parts for all facilities equipment. • Creating Permits to Work (PTW) for the team. To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mechatronics or electronic engineering • 1-2 years’ experience in networking, project management and IT related configurations • Solid understanding of ELV systems • Excellent communication skills for interfacing with internal and external stakeholders • Excellent problem-solving skills • Ability to manage multiple reviews and deadlines • Responsive to changing demands • Ability to evaluate new approaches, systems, and design solutions • Ability to perform design value engineering Desirable: • Cisco Certified Network Associate R&S CCNA • Certification on ELV systems and applications • Ready to join immediately
