Job Description: Â
- Performs visual inspection/diagnosis of vehicle, using various checklists, diagnosis tools, and aids during service reception, and dynamic testing, including test drives.
- Identifies the cause of the malfunction, documents on the database, diagnosis methods utilized, as well as proper work steps to resolve issues after thoroughly understanding vehicle history and/or contacting the service advisor for additional comments on malfunction.
- Transfers and explains the workshop to the concerned technicians, including generating the list of the required parts for repair work.
- Advises and supports workshop personnel in difficult diagnosis cases and may even perform the work himself in critical cases.
- Performs final inspection to ensure a degree of repairs, roadworthiness, functional reliability, and safety using various measuring instruments; may also conduct a final test drive.
