Quantity Surveyor (Estimator)
Job Summary
We are Interior Design Company seeking for Senior Quantity Surveyor who manages all the cost of materials for building works and engineering projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- To recommend detailed pricing for projects
- To maintain and update a material costing file
- To maintain good relation with suppliers
- To prepare bills quantities
- To participate in preparation of tenders
- To assist in updating materials in the sample room
- To implement and respect the Company rules and regulations
- To precisely and professionally execute assigned tasks
- To reserve and protect the company’s assets
- To keep company’s information strictly confidential
- To avoid any wrong-doing or misbehavior
- To behave politely and professionally with colleagues and with the public
- To participate in assessment of projects
- To develop design solutions from conception stage to post occupation evaluation
- To liaise with support other members of the company
- To establish and to achieve individual action plans
- To participate in any function or action that may be beneficial to the company
- To meet with clients, suppliers, and contractors as required
- To maintain site visits as required
- To take site measurement as required
