
– Identify procurement requirements once a project is awarded.
– Prepare vendor lists based on vendor evaluation and procurement schedule.
– Send out enquiries to vendors for pricing.
– Address queries and seek clarification from the Consultant for any ambiguities, and communicate information to subcontractors and suppliers as needed.
– Solicit and evaluate quotations from vendors, and carry out negotiations for favorable pricing and terms.
– Prepare bid summaries with technical and price comparisons for review.
– Prepare purchase orders for materials and agreements for subcontractors.
– Prepare technical submittals for all construction materials.
– Update pricing database and vendor list regularly.
– Follow up for timely delivery of materials and coordinate with site team and subcontractors.
– Conduct quantity take-offs to verify bills or quantify work.
– Prepare cost value reports to track project expenses.
– Prepare variations, payment certificates, and payment applications as required.
Requirements- Bachelor degree in Engineering or architecture/ Holder of Quantity Surveying Degree
–Â Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement within the construction industry.
– Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations.- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
– Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
