MEP Draughtsman

Responsibilities: • Conduct the preparation / modification of electrical shop drawings (power, lighting, & ELV Systems). • Prepare the required drawings for consultants, contractors and government authorities submission – MOI / Civil Defense. • Preparation of ELV Drawings for Fire Alarm Systems (FAS), Access Control System (ACS), CCTV, Public Address System (PAS), Building Management System (BMS) & Section Details. • Prepare Shop Drawings, As-built drawings, Sectional drawings, Elevation drawings, Schematic drawings etc. • Electrical Lighting Layout (Internal, External). • Raw Power & UPS Power Layout. • Cable Tray and Trunking Layout (inside & outside plants). • Fire alarm system, PA system, CCTV, Access Control Layout. • Telephone & Data system layout. • Electrical Main SLD Layout. • Earthing Schematic, TV, TEL, FA. • GA Layout for Main LT Panel, C/O and Distribution Panels etc. • External Trench, Hume pipe, Earthing, LA layout. • Substation, Meter Room Section, Elevation Layout. • MEP Coordination layout (RCP & External Coordination).

Qualifications and Experiences: • Ability to work independently, in design modification of electrical services (basic knowledge in design of power and lighting circuits, schematic diagrams and voltage drop calculation…). • Ability to read, edit and draft mechanic, electrical and ELV drawings including CCTV and Access Controls. • Ability to understand ELV drawings and systems up to the level required for coordinating with ELV, electrical, mechanical & Cabling layouts accordingly. • Knowledge of design documentation as per ISO 9001:2000 procedure will be an added advantage. • Prefer if candidate have a certification from Autodesk. • Knowledge in RIVET software. Design modification of electrical services. • Minimum experience of 5 years in Electro-Mechanical constructions services works.
