In-patient Insurance Coordinator and Claims Processor / Outside Medical Center Coordinator (QLM, ALKOOT, ALLIANZ, BUPA, METLIFE, TRICARE, MSH, AETNA, AXA)

·        Responsible for all insurance pre-approval request in-patient and out-patient

·        Validate the procedures done by the patient

·        Ensure patient information is accurate including billing information

·        Inform patients of medical office procedures and policy

·        Maintain and manage patient records

·       Sending and checking approvals for doctor request to Health Insurance

·        Collect co-pays and payments

·        Report statistics as required

·        Schedule hospital admissions, tests, scans and outside appointments for patients

·        Obtain external medical reports as required by medical professionals

·        Deal with incoming and outgoing post

·        Complete other clerical duties as assigned

·        Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.

·        Determines covered medical insurance losses by studying provisions of policy or certificate.

·        Documents medical claims actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.

·        Submits monthly claims.

·        Follows up with all insurance companies for the release of payments.

·        Handles reconciliations

Mandatory experience:

Should have at least 2 years of the same nature of work in a medical facility in QATAR.

Local hires only with valid NOC.
