Our client is an international organization and are seeking a qualified Financial Controller for their Dubai entity. UAE experience is essential along with the ability to work on your own initiative as you will be solely responsible for the Finance operations in Dubai. Fluent written and spoken German.
Description:
- Handling various finance issues in a timely and confidential manner
- Year-end reporting (liaison with auditor including financial statements) / IFRS Reporting
- Yearly cost/turnover planning
- Quarterly cost/turnover forecast for current year
- Monthly reporting – profit & loss, turnover, costs, working capital, cash flow
- All data entry in SAP with regards to finance
- Review of margins
- Ensure real time accounting (accruals)
- Ensure compliance with corporate finance policies
- Oversee SAP processes in sales
- Define payment terms for all sales in collaboration with GM (L/C, CAD, credit facilities)
- Collection of accounts receivable
- Liaising with the bank
- Financial tasks with regards to HR (end of service, settlement, salaries)
- VAT Reporting
