Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assisting the Chef de partie in preparing food according to the requirements or recipes or standards, and the specifications for his department.
- Prepare the daily mise-en-place and food production in different sections of the main pantry.
- Attend in trainings being conducted and implemented in daily operations to improve the quality of food.
- Ensure that the food served went through proper preparation and has correct temperature.
- Accept store deliveries and ensure that the stocks are in order.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.
- Coordinate and participate with other sections of requirements, cleanliness, wastage and cost control.
