Job Description:
- Responsible to direct or coordinate purchasing, distribution, and supplies financial forecasting services or activities to limit costs and improve accuracy.
- Effective proactive liaison with other departments such as the Supply Chain & Sales: for tender preparation, import /export process and procurement of right quality items at right time, Finance: for Accounts Payable Management, etc.
- Develop material for planning system, material costs forecasts or standard cost lists.
- Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements; this includes meeting with suppliers to discuss performance metrics, to provide performance feedback, or to discuss production forecasts or changes.
- Manage activities related to strategic or tactical purchasing, material requirements planning, inventory control, or receiving;.
