Job Description: 

1. Settles customer transactions and payments by giving accurate bill and change

2. Maintains to be polite and listens properly to customers while attending to their queries ad complaints; ensuring to provide accurate and proper information to customers to complaints and coordinates all concerns with the Line Manager

3. Ensures proper coordination and alignment with immediate superior of any queries, events, customer complaints, concerns, etc.

4. Coordinates with the concerned FE Assistant, Cash Office Personnel and Sales Associate for ay customer-related and cash-related issues to give the maximum excellent service to the customer

5. Ensures that all products are scanned properly and completely as per the correct barcode and pricing

6. Stays focused and alert on the POS Display while punching/scanning items to avoid mistakes

7. Coordinates with immediate superior for any issues with customer transactions, billings and system

8.  Upholds company policies and procedures when it comes to cutomer exchange and refund services

9. Keeps cash counter always clean, tidy and orderly

10. Refills and properly displays the items in the checkout lanes

11. Maintains adequate checkout supplies

12. Keeps adequate loose change (bills and coins) for the customer

13. Regularly monitors item price discrepancies and inform the same to immediate superior

14. Gives proper instructions to the Baggers in respect to proper packing and segregation of products

15. Carries out other duties and responsibilities as instructed by the Line Manager
