Spinneys, the UAE’s leading premium food retailer, is looking for a talented and skilled Restaurant/Café Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

Managing the kitchen staff Making sure the kitchen is a safe and hygienic place to work Ensure correct chemicals are used as per hygiene standard. Organising the inventory, storage, and distribution of foodstuffs and supplies Ensure availability of products, ingredients, and store use through system ordering. Quality & freshness check on shop floor and on receiving delivery and dispatches. Maintain expiry record of products and maintained all the time and action accordingly as per health and safety and company policy. Maintain the temperature checks and records in chiller/back up area. Helping to plan menus, apportion ingredients and use food surpluses. Ensure foods are cooked in required temperatures and records are maintained in cooking and re-heating temperature record book. Control portion costs by working out the number of portions per food batch. Control wastage / Shrinkage/ Shop use within store budget Ensure and checks prices of products update or changes on POS and tags availability. Follow Display Sequence as per approved standard. Staff training and development productivity. Arranging staff schedules and to serve customer better and achieve customer satisfaction. Arranging staff leave plan. In some jobs will be required to cook Required Knowledge:

· Product knowledge.

· Understand ordering procedures.

· Basic food hygiene and knowledge.

· Source of supplies and ordering.

· Cooking knowledge.

· Staff training and supervision.

· Report preparation and presentation.
