A reputed Dubai based Electromechanical company with ongoing projects in UAE and abroad, is in search of a qualified and well experienced Project Manager to work in its project in an African country.
POSITION: Project Manager – MEP QUALIFICATION: BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering WORK EXPERIENCE: 12 to 15 years UAE experience as Project Manager in an Electromechanical company
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: -Verification of quotation for MEP works -Review and approval of all tender documents, consultant requirements and design drawings in MEP works -Follow-up with main contractor and consultant for drawings and material approval -Inspection of materials at site with material approvals and BOQ -Attending regular site coordination and consultant meetings -Monitoring site progress of work with Concerned Engineers & Supervisors -Sorting-out technical issues with consultants and main-contractors -Monitoring the quality and workmanship of project execution and arranging the site inspection -Monitoring the implementation of relevant safety measures at sites and strictly ensure the same during site operations to adhere HSE standards -Arranging all documents, shop drawings from contractor / consultant and coordination with Govt. authorities (DEWA, ETISALAT, DIC, etc) for approval -Monitor the execution of Electrical, Fire Alarm, Low Current Systems, BMS, HVAC, plumbing, firefighting services are strictly in-accordance with approved shop drawings and workmanship and ensure that they met the certified standard requirements ASHRAE, HVCA, NFPA, ASTM & ASME -At each stage of project execution, as per regulations, organize the inspection form Govt. authorities (DEWA, ETISALAT, DIC,etc) for approval -Obtain the NOC, Completion Certificate from relevant department -dating site queries and generation of As-Built drawings SALARY: AED 12,000 to AED 16,000 per month plus other benefits.
