Responsibilities:

Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent unauthorized access or activities.
Provide a visible security presence to deter potential security threats.
Inspect and control the access of individuals, vehicles, or packages entering the premises.
Conduct security checks, including bag searches and metal detector screenings, if applicable.
Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms.
Maintain detailed records of security activities, incidents, and observations.
Conduct routine security inspections to identify vulnerabilities and safety hazards.
Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
Enforce security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance from all personnel and visitors.
Operate and maintain security equipment, such as surveillance cameras, alarms, and communication systems.
Provide information and assistance to employees and visitors regarding security and safety protocols.
Report any suspicious activity, safety hazards, or security breaches to supervisors.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current on security best practices.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is a plus but not requiapply-d.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and perform security duties for extended periods.
Knowledge of security protocols, procedures, and emergency response.
Understanding of security technology and surveillance systems.
Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
